Master Trauma-Informed Care:

Transform Your Practice & Guide Clients to Resilience

35-Hour Certificate Program, May 2nd - July 25th, 2025

A neuroscience-backed, somatic training designed to help you navigate trauma responses with confidence, integrity, and impact.

Recognize trauma responses in the moment

Guide clients through emotional overwhelm

Foster deep, lasting change

Ever feel like your sessions hit a wall, with clients stuck in the same patterns?

It’s frustrating—for you and for them. Trauma is often the invisible force holding them back, yet many practitioners lack the tools to respond effectively.

Too often, practitioners face clients immobilized by unprocessed trauma but lack the skills to respond effectively. Without trauma-informed tools, you might sidestep these barriers or overreach your role, leading to disconnection, burnout, and missed opportunities for growth. Clients remain unseen, and you’re left grappling with the limits of your craft.
When you aren’t trained in trauma-informed approaches, it’s easy to unknowingly miss the cues of a dysregulated nervous system. You might over-rely on talk-based tools or push clients faster than their bodies are ready for. Instead of creating breakthroughs, sessions stall—or even retraumatize.

You feel under-resourced, second-guess your methods, and start to wonder: Am I even making a difference?

Trauma & Somatics Practitioner Training

35-Hour Certificate Program, May 2nd - July 25th, 2025

The Trauma and Somatics Practitioner Training is an immersive journey for coaches, therapists, and wellness practitioners. Rooted in Somara’s vision of the body as oracle, it equips you with somatic tools to navigate trauma responses ethically. Through experiential learning, mentorship, and nervous system attunement, you’ll cultivate the presence to guide clients—and yourself—home to resilience and integration.

Trauma leaves profound emotional and physiological scars, affecting over 70% of adults worldwide.

Research in the Journal of Traumatic Stress ties unresolved trauma to increased risks of anxiety, depression, and PTSD, with long-term effects including chronic stress and physical health decline. The American Psychological Association further notes that early trauma, such as abuse, accelerates biological aging, emphasizing its deep developmental impact.

Yet, many practitioners lack the skills to address trauma effectively. A Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology meta-analysis found that 20% of therapy clients drop out early, often dissatisfied with their therapist’s approach or progress. This gap highlights the urgent need for trauma-informed expertise.

The Trauma and Somatics Practitioner Training meets this need with evidence-based frameworks like Polyvagal Theory and Somatic Experiencing®.

Backed by extensive research, these methods equip practitioners to help clients regulate their nervous systems, process trauma responses, and restore resilience. This training ensures you can deliver impactful, lasting results, reducing client dropout and enhancing outcomes.

This training uniquely blends small-group mentorship, experiential somatic learning, and a trauma-informed toolkit, equipping you to address trauma responses with confidence and integrity. Unlike broad, detached programs, Somara offers intimate guidance from seasoned facilitators and a resonant community, ensuring you gain practical, ethical skills rooted in the body’s wisdom.

What if you had the tools to navigate even the toughest moments and guide your clients toward real breakthroughs?

Here’s the thing: trauma can be the invisible force holding your clients back. Research shows that unresolved trauma can cause emotional triggers, self-sabotage, and chronic stress. It disrupts their ability to grow and leaves you wondering how to help.

That’s where our Trauma and Somatics Practitioner Training comes in. This isn’t just another certification. It’s a game-changer, built to give you the tools, confidence, and skills to:

We built this program to bridge the gap between theory and practice. It’s grounded in cutting-edge research like Polyvagal Theory and Somatic Experiencing®, combined with hands-on learning. Think practical tools you can use immediately, not just concepts to store away for later.
